More or less all projects started today adhere to agile development and often use SCRUM as methodology. Juniors just finishing there studies take this for granted. The benefits includes enabling distributed workforces, delegeted desisions, incresed quility and harmonic, self-sufficient teams. Still, at the end of the day, the results produced are not always usefull. They tend to miss the overarching targets although everyone involved - business owners, SCRUM masters, project managers, developers, QA and test - were deply involved. There was a consensus on what to do and how.
The common misstake is that there was no consensus on Why!
On that, we have consensus.
Experience is good, but not all.
